Fossil fuels are a huge business and extremely profitable, being subsidized in every country by tax payer dollars. These oil spills are a regular occurrence. If they were accidental detonations of some of the hundreds of thousands of nuclear bombs in existence, the response would still be the same: doom and gloom reporting, nothing else. So there will be some pathetic efforts to clean it uop, but another part of the earth will become a toxic dump, useless, uninhabitable, ruined for at least a century or more. That's because fossil fuels are a huge business and extremely profitable. Nothing can stand in the way of profit in 2020.
