Groundwater is no solution. That's like pouring a glass of water and thinking it will last the rest of your life. Ground water is not being replenished during drought. Ground water will run out. People are still saying that we can't dam up all the rivers, and put pipelines everywhere. No can do! Too much money. But we will sacrifice the environment and ruin land forever to frack sour rotten fossil fuels, and spend any amount to put pipelines everywhere. Always a fight about new oil pipelines, but more and more are added at public expense despite oil being like that glass of water as well. And can anyone look around and see that everything in the USA is now made of plastic which is another form of fossil fuel. Imagine is plastic magically disappeared. We would all be standing naked on a very barren place. No clothes- all made of plastic now, we would have on our cotton underwear if we were lucky enough to have underwear, but they would still fall off because- the thread. No cars. No painted or plastic covered anything, no phones or computers. We need to save the oil and natural gas for plastic, or just admit that the corporate overlords have a massive population reduction already in progress.
