  1. What everyone fails to get is that test, track, and quarantine doesn't work if you don't test widely, and track and quarantine very early. If you scarcely test, don't bother to track and quarantine. If you let the disease become widespread, the effort and cost will increase substantially. Lockdowns are punishing to the people and the economy, but may "flatten the curve" of hospital admissions. That's a big price to pay. In the USA the trump government has abandoned the people after allowing the disease to spread unchecked for six weeks. Covid-19 is not gone at all. It was just waiting for people to come out and get infected. At least sixty per cent of the people will have to have Covid-19 to get "herd immunity. In the USA as many as 6 million deaths will accompany herd immunity.
