If China is willing to endanger their pilots and Expensive Helicopter just to intimidate the Filipinos, means that China is desperate. Worst part is, it doesn't even intimidate the Filipinos, and just gave them more evidence to gain support.

@alphillips5478 as you can see, according to the news, the Chinese activity on the West Philippine Sea has decreased. So somebody is actually doing something about it.

@alphillips5478 And does that change anything about my statement that Chinese presence still got decreased? If China is decreasing their presence just because of a naval drill, means they never intended to fight for the Spratlys. They'll just wait until the Naval drill is over, but what happens when the next one arrives? They will hide again? It's indicating to the world, that China has no resolve.

And if China get spooked by a Naval drill, it is signifying to the world that China will never really fight for those islands as the presence of a Naval drill is enough to scare them out. Not the Filipinos though, they always challenge Chinese warships constantly. It's ALL THE TIME!
