  5. The Brits had it easy because they didnt balls up the landings like the Americans at Omaha did. 1. DD tanks sinking before reaching Omaha 2. Preliminary bombardment misses the beaches giving the troops no cover 3. Landing in front of strong points and high cliffs instead of weakly defended areas as ordered
