The RN has quality over quantity these days. Russia is a neutered power and China is so far away that’s its irrelevant to our affairs. The UK still bitchslapped the argies who had a 6% fatality rate vs the Brits with only 0.8%. We are the only country to fight a proper maritime war since WW2. They aren’t pocket aircraft carriers, nobody calls them pocket aircraft carriers. They are only 10-20% smaller than a Gerald R Ford class. The extra tonnage in a US carrier comes from its heavy nuclear reactors.
