  1. We spent 3 trillion on Iraq and Afghanistan, two countries which did not deserve it or wanted democracy. Both parties approved those wars and expensive nation building attempts. Thousands of US troops were killed and maimed during those efforts. Nobody talked about the rising national debt back then. Now Ukraine is fighting the Russian invader and asks for weapons but some in Congress have suddenly developed fiscal responsibility and are playing into Putin's hands by holding up aid to Ukraine. This is insanity, not America first, but Russia first.
