  19. For Ukraine to start another offensive, it needs overwhelming firepower donated by NATO but it looks like NATO is stingy with weapons shipments. Without overwhelming firepower (not just equal to Russia's), it is a static war of attrition, with neither side able to make any meaningful advance. Sort of like WW1. So the question is which side will be able and willing to outlast the other side, and can Russia's war economy continue to pay for the war to match NATO's financial aid to Ukraine.

  20. Wrong again. Venezuela will not collapse for the same reasons Cuba has not collapsed - the bad actors of the world who oppose the US have kept Cuba and Venezuela afloat just to annoy the US. And they will continue to do so unless they collapse, like the USSR did, which freed the former Warsaw Pact nations to join the EU and NATO.

Mexico needs a president like Nyaib Bukele of El Salvador to fight the cartels and lock them up. Sheinbaum is not the one to do it. She was elected for the novelty of having a woman president.
