Seems pretty obvious to me, when they found him he was simply drunk, not enough to get a conviction but the officers heard the call for SA, and they are going to make sure this guy faces some sort of justice for that. So what do you do? Rough him up a bit, not like he belongs here in the first place and these immigrants are just making things bad, right?
But oh no, looks like they beat him a little too much and there would be consequences for that, and then they wouldnt be heroes anymore! Thats where they just burn the evidence of their "justice" and shut off the fire alarm and take their time to make sure everything is nice and crispy. And then just toss a lighter around him and claim he was lighting himself on fire for attention, you know how it is. If there were holes in him they'd throw a gon on him and act like he hid it up his butt just to shoot himself.
At the end of the day, even if it was proven that they did it, you still wouldn't care about the guy who lost his life, you would be worried about the families of those poor officers if they had to be held accountable. Trivalism and confirmation bias at their finest.
