  2. Meta appears to be lame, but that’s partially since it’s trying to appeal to businesses, to try to get them to use VR in exchange for real spaces. I doubt it’ll be the success Facebook wants it to be, but saying it’ll be a failure that’ll destroy the industry is probably going too far.

TBF, Elon Musk has so many companies that is the hype falls in one, he can just move to another idea, and that (borderline insanity) has basically allowed him to be at the cutting edge of other tech companies. It’s kind of a different model to the rest of the tech industry, which is why he has a billion different companies in completely unrelated industries. I think one can argue he’s kind of a cockroach, in that he survives so much crap and keeps going, seemingly unscathed.

  4. Eh, TBF, AOL bough out Warner in the worst corporate buyout of all time- basically making adaption to new things impossible. IBM is one of the largest companies in the world still.
