  1. The US economy was already the largest in the World by the Great depression. A better comparison would be Germany, which few genuinely thought would recover as quickly as it did to start WW2 (though this was partially deficit war economy spending). More importantly, China is expected to lose half its people by 2050 due to the 1 -child policy. That’s death-spiral level of bad.

  4.  @J_X999  Wait a minute, explain exactly how China had a 1 -Child policy until 2015, and still has a TFR of 1.6? There’s no evidence (not even by the CCP) for a massive surge in birth rates. We know the 1-Child policy was strictly enforced, with forced abortions and all.
