Note that Russia’s birth rate is 1.6 and rising, so birth rates are better than a lot of Europe.

I think an interesting video would be “Is Japan a Future Superpower?” The Stratford School (Zehian, etc.) is one of those few that still holds onto the idea due to the fact they believe the area will end up becoming a major power vacuum. In a lot of ways, Japan is kind of like France circa 1938.

@TheRedKing247 Japan has a higher birth rate than any developed or decently industrialized nation in its proximity, and it’s birth rate is rising (possibly because of government programs, possibly because of a variation of the Roe effect, and the economy is already adapted to poor demographics. The elite are outwards looking, the people are not, largely due to WW2.

@TheRedKing247 I meant more the companies and government. Vietnam is underdeveloped, and China is almost certainly faking its numbers (b/c one child policy- it was ABSOLUTELY enforced, and there is no indication of a post-policy boom.) Abe just brought up bringing nukes to Japan. Not sure how that’s minor. A lot of the elites are descended from the elite class of Japan back pre-WW2, as well (so the imperial military-industrial complex)…
