  1. kylesteinhauser Because cities and demand grows- so obviously adding more lanes ends up adding more people on the road. Reducing the number of lanes prevents people from getting to where they want without good alternatives. You can get to a point where you overbuild to the point where it’s uncongested. Problem is that that’s pretty hard to get to.
