@rudysmith1552 Chinese TFR stats (and stats in general) are ‘suggestions’ only. They’re not reliable. Also, 1.12 would still mean China would have ~500mil by the end of the decade- something that would put the likely workforce at smaller than the US’. —- Country collapses are like stock prices. Things go well, until they don’t. —- Internationalism/Globalism pre-WW1 existed, but it paled in comparison to the modern day. Britain wasn’t as brutal as most empires, but still contributed to several Indian Famines.

@penguinsarereal I think he’s talking about governance. Both parties have moved away from neoliberal economics. Not anywhere near even where the US was in the 70s even, but still noteworthy.
