  1. Makes me wonder if we should stop having public pensions so that people will have kids. Children used to be an ‘insurance’ in case the parent got sick or retired. Not anymore.

  2.  @markiic Maybe the solution is actually on the other end. Stop paying out pensions so that people are forced to have kids as an insurance policy when they get old.

  3. There’s another thing you haven’t mentioned: The media and mainstream society gives off ‘vibes’ that really in effect tell people to stop having kids. Why have kids if they contribute to global warming and there’s no future for them? —- We need a society that actually tells people to have kids, not one that doesn’t.

  4. Don’t go to college then. Plenty of good jobs without needing a 4-year if you’re willing to do manual labour.
