  7. They are bad. I was a cocktail waitress in the 90s. A guy used to come in a lot and tip me and another girl very well. He asked me if I wanted to make $80k as a secretary and that I didn't need to know how to type. He said I would need to fly to the UK, Turkey, and Egypt. When I told him I had many years experience in HR he stopped having me serve him. A month later that girl supposedly went on a cruise with him and we never saw her again. Another guy asked me if I wanted to be a flight attendant on a private plane. I told him I couldn't because I had children but after the other offer I wondered if that was legit or not.

  8. We are actually losing it. It is very scary times here and we are living in the last days. They are highly encouraging homosexuality and discouraging Christianity. They are teaching in schools and colleges God is a myth. Being atheist and pagan is popular. Sex is really being pushed as well as pushing killing babies through abortion. it will only get worse. I wish I had moved to a community like this in the 80s. I am so tempted to move there now but I feel my children need me right now even though they are adults. People who live here are blessed.

  14.  @leonceboudreauxwolf  exactly what happened in parts of Texas. Where I lived it was voted number one place in Texas to live in for several years. We had 50k people. Now, it is over 250k people and has dropped to like 28th. Many rural places where homes were inexpensive and could be bought for 50k realtors and investors buy them to flip then people who needed the affordable housing can't afford them. Many times they knock down the house to sell just the land. People don't have the opportunity to fix it up themselves.

Many strippers make fun of the guys who come in and think the girls actually like them. I am sure being in those places gave her the old feeling of power. It was the pimp who took all her money and power away. She wanted love more than anything but she knows her pimp was using her the way she was using the Johns.

Maybe to also help with a food bank. Perhaps he could hire people to work on his farm to provide fresh vegetables and fruit at the food bank. Which would also help people needing work or it could supply tools needed for volunteers to garden for the food bank. Perhaps they will need a well to water the crops and a place for folks to gather and enjoy a "feast" together. Perhaps a kitchen to make the feast in during cold weather.

Although, where my ancestors lived have all turned into black slums and I am no longer welcomed there. The country needs unification but all the woke crap is destroying America

  35. My mom was from California and my dad was from Texas. We lived in Texas most of my life. If my accent started to slip out she would slap my mouth and say you'll never get a job sounding like that. I worked in HR and during a meeting a woman older than me, I was in my early twenties, said "it's not fixin', it is about to." Luckily, my boss said "this isn't up north and it is very common here." Many teachers and other people have tried to remove the way southerners speak.
