Probably, but there are also serial killers and murderers today that do bad stuff. People bought slaves as employees to make a profit. They wouldn't make much money if they spent their days torturing people. Were black people whipped and hung? Yes, but NEWS FLASH so were white people. That was how the law worked back then.   4. I agree! It's the community and parents that condone and praise this that make me sick. These kids don't have a chance. This kid lived in a safe community, went to an exemplary school, was a star athlete and had a chance at a great life but the hate in his heart destroyed his life. What did the parents do about the suspension? Probably told their kid the school was racist.
