  1. Never really a golden age. All decades had their problems. The 70s had high unemployment and gas shortages. The 80s had the savings and loan crash. The 90s were great until 9/11 and the tech bubble popped. Then came the problems in 2008. That is why saving during the good times is important. Unfortunately after all the progress made now they want us to go back to being peasants with no private property, no eating meat, and riding bikes.

  2. Homes today are so plain and boring. Even uglier than in the 90s even though they cost so much more. I think it is because they want cookie cutter homes like in communism.
