  15. It is important to remain cautiously skeptical of this..... It is purely speculation. Normally NK gives extreme sentences, rekease Americans early and treats Americans better than it's own citizens....... why ? they don't want controversy. Americans have been through their strange and surreal judicial system. The full video of his trial is full of fictional confessions. Several Americans have been through the system and reported better than average treatment. What is likely is that he could have tried to hang himself.......and was resuscitated too late. To someone quirky and offbeat...... the prospect of 15 years hard labour for that would be a death sentence...... We he returned to the US he suddenly died even though he had been in such a state for a long time? was he not over administered sedative on his arrival as opposed to spending the rest of his life severely mentally disabled ? is that why his parents refused an autopsy......because they agreed to end his suffering ? ....It's essential this issue, laden in ambiguity, doesn't become a tool for the military industrial complex to start a war. The US invaded Iraq over WMD that Hans Blix claimed were not there.......and were never found. The war is still going on in various ways....15 years later. There are many very strange places where people can get harsh sentences for doing very little. Saudi Arabia was the source of the WTC attacks and yet were praised. Raif Badawi got 10 years and constant whipping for simply creating a blog.
