The only way drivers are going to stick around from something like that is if 360 dashcams are mandatory for all vehicles. People don't want to be pulled in to a random situation, possibly blamed and possibly convicted even though it was not their fault. The blame is 100% with the attacker.

@rocketmann8333 Maybe they didn't notice. Car audio, distractions etc..... Cycling has made me realise most people are being carried, not driving with immediate reactions. Cameras on all new cars would bring clarity to such situations. .

@rocketmann8333 It was already partially on video. The issue is Government AI surveillance (like the creepy situation in the UK, China etc....) not private defense. . Video evidence can stop innocent people being falsely accused and falsely convicted. ie the driver

@chele-chele Dashcams are not "Government madness". It's personal protection against liars and confusion.
