Your desire for thanks is based in insecurity and vanity. Fix your head. Face it..... Chinese society can be boorish and the humour is often unsophisticated. Chinese should learn modesty and meditation.....and emulate Japanese people more, who are modest, sensitive, intelligent and normal. . Can you understand? Try understanding to progress instead of arrogant mimicry. .

Spat on publicly humiliated..... it's latent racism.... "how dare a foreign man marry a Chinese woman" Part of the issue is the crude, unsophisticated sense of Chinese humour it seems....which contrasts to the sophistication of dragons, pagodas, Lao Tzu, cherry blossoms, Ming era porcelain etc.....
