  1. Slaves are not created by racism they are created by economics. Europeans...especially the Dutch...... traded anything and everything....... . if people needed rubber, the searched for it....if people needed spices they searched for it...... They sold anything and bought anything....... British stopped dealing with slaves relatively early and banned it a long time ago. Slavery wasn't created by racism, it was and still is created by economic desperation which becomes greed. Greed and desperation creates wars and abuse. . Debt drive workers are slaves to their debt......it didn't go away. Slaves were part of the early middle ages in Europe due to Roman invasion.......not African slaves, but Europeans making slaves of each other.....why..... most likely Africa. To really understand it you have to realise the vast size of Africa. Africa is 14 times the size of the US with 54 countries. The current population dwarfs the US: 1.2 billion compared to 377million or so...... Tribal fighting and tribal wars created prisoners and the prisoners were sold. This feudalism was fundamental to the development of society.....for good or bad. Feudalism in Europe didn't create as many slaves......they tended to kill each other. Look at WWII and WWI.....they were not trying to harness manpower...... Slaves were and STILL ARE part of African society. Libya has slaves after the fallout of the Obama and Hillary campaign to destabilize Qaddafi. Child slaves are created in in Mali to pick bean in plantation on the Ivory Coast......not by white people. The real drivers of slavery are economic desperation, feudalism and amorality.....
