  2. He held the gun out to be shot. It was suicide. The 2nd Amendment should be changed to specify Police and military only. The over reaction is caused by fear.

Many mass shooters were the former. ie Paddock in Las Vegas The 2nd Amendment empowers anyone to have access to a gun and shoot first. The consequence is 97% of US gun related deaths are not legally justifiable....... Over 40,000 people died last year by gun violence..... usually the deaths equivalence around 11 WTC attacks. An average person in Baltimore has over 100 times greater chance of being killed than an average person in Britain. Guns empower the worst to become even worse. US Police kill more in 1 month than British Police did in a century. It is a war zone in some cities. Why not resolve it as a society? The paranoia creates fear......the fear creates the weapons......the weapons enable violence...... the violence creates paranoia...... Australians had the courage to be a normal healthy society after Port Arthur. There are solutions. The best solution is eliminating excessive military expediture and turning ghettos into normal places. Get rid of the extremes of poverty and wealth. It is all about psychology and the Government sets the paradigm.
