Tesla pays for future research and development..... and Xpeng simply copies it with no overhead and cheap labour with no workers rights, unions etc.... ? . China is undermining US companies by iptheft and integrating themselves into universities etc..... to undermine western society. The economy is a REAL battleground. . The weapons of the future are by developing "alien technology" (imagine seeing an iphone in 1954) by AI and GAN. The UK Government has effectively sold itself to China : from nuclear power, to North Sea Oil, to Thames Water, to British Steel, to NHS blood plasma...etc.... etc.... From the Shanghai Motorshow with a dramatic, histrionic protestor performance to the new article trying to make Tesla look bad because they threatened bloggers with a defamation suit (today) .
