The officer was polite and helpful. Most Police would have arrested him sooner. Walking away and refusing to give a name indicates possible guilt to Police. Plus he tries to corruptly manipulate the Police......

Another complimentary solution is tunnels. . Battery swap like Gogoro = superb concept. One solution for inner city transport, that is free, perpetual and non polluting, is a series of gradually descending tunnels, like the London tube except dual and inclined. Gravity = free Imagine a gentle slope, like a ski slope in a tunnel. By using low friction surfaces it would minimize friction and charge scooter batteries by regenerative braking. Elevators could contain pollution at stations and air could be sucked out further minimizing friction in the tunnel. Such a simple solution would provide constant, weather independent, non polluting, city access within a 5 to 10 mile radius..... that could last for hundreds of years and allow for cyclists to commute long distances without pedalling and actually charge escooters etc.....

Escooters and electric vehicles are the future..... Cars are too heavy. . Try understanding that progress occurs without your personal judgements.....

Failing to identify oneself absolutely will result in arrest. The U.S. Supreme Court gave its seal of approval to stop-and-identify laws in 2004. Why not educate yourself instead of repeating my words like a mimic, or becoming indignant by your own neurotic paranoia and guilt? Of course, if your relative was robbed or killed around the corner, you would understand why. Try using critical thinking........instead of shallow outrage. Ask "why is it law that they do that?"
