Our state legisture is 83% Republican and right after the 2020 election, they passed laws restricting all kinds of things. They did it on weekends and Stitt signed these at times like 4:30 am on a Sunday, which says it all. Please look up what kind of laws they passed. see who voted "yes" and "no" and who was absent. i have a feeling the democrats weren't there, maybe because they weren't even told about it!!

There are NO exceptions to the abortion ban. There are no more IVF practices in Oklahoma because of this. There are NO TUBAL LIGATIONS done in the state and NO IUDs because IUDs keep fertilized eggs from implanting in the uterus. Eptopic pregnancies don't qualify for medical intervention even though it will never result in a viable ferus and jepordizes the life of the mother. It's complete insanity. I'm sure Oklahoma will loose many doctors and many women may move out of the state, too. This abortion ban is detrimental to every woman in the state. Oklahoma will become a state with very few women of child-bearing age living here. We are planning to move in the near future, as soon as we can afford it.
