In Maga-Republican captured states, laws restricting females is serious. Oklahoma Gov Kevin Stitt has a TASK FORCE that monitors all females. Doctors are required to give the Task Force information on all their pregnant patients. I checked with my doctor and with the local hospital and there is NO HIPAA for females in Oklahoma. My friend had to get her birth certificate to buy an Amtrak ticket to go to Texas for a few days to pick up her car!!

@pur756 that's a "no duh" point. Having a driver's license does not mean you can register to vote. I know many older people who don't have a driver's license but they are registered to vote! A license can be used as an id for many things, but not required to vote.

@XenaphobeJoe-n1j not in red states! Depends on where the polling place is located. Lower socioeconomic communities are more likely to have voter intimidation.

@unicorndelicious we rin into the falacy of id .. in the beginning we rely on people telling truith, which 99% of Americans do. To get a picture id, we present documents that don't have a picture. It's worked for more than a century. Are there criminals that make false statements and false ids? Yea, but they are few, very few. Probably less than .01% of people.

@wally1663 well, last fall Gov Kevin Stitt publicly announced he signed an executive order making it illegal for anyone to use a bathroom not designated for their gender at birth. One reporter asked how that woukd be enforced and he said, "We're going to monitor them." 😳
