  1. Anna, I keep hearing the word "persecution" used when actually it should be "prosecution". When a criminal has committed a crime, evidence is gathered, a warrant goes out for that person so "he or she" can be prosecuted. Persecution is unjust punishment without evidence of a crime having been committed.
