Heat stroke is an emergency!! Pour water or cold liquid on any person having a heat stroke before calling for help or transporting to medical care. Animals get heat stroke too. Keep pets out of sun and off pavement, asphalt and sidewalks. Even sand can be blistering hot. An animal having heat stroke must be cooled immediately or they will start seizing and die. Plunge in water, hose them down, work water through hair to reach their skin. Then seek veterinary care!
