  1. Doctors need training to prevent pain medication abuse. HOWEVER, longterm, chronic pain requires effective treatment and sometimes the only choice is medication. Longterm pain management should be the priority. Safe pain medication use is possible for longterm pain management. What went wrong here is the disconnect between doctors and pharmacy. And it went on too long. Far too many people suffered from drug abuse and addiction because too many doctors weren't paying attention. I personally know people that are heroin addicts that started from being prescribed pain medication for a short-term pain management. They weren't aware of why they couldn't seem to stop taking the medication. I wish I had known. Maybe I could have helped them avoid the catastrophe. The other injustice is in the settlement. Who gets the money? The states!! Not the people injured by pharmaceutical companies lying to doctors and making stronger and stronger versions of the highly addictive opiods!! What are states doing with the settlement money? Who the eff knows, am i right?

  3. ​ @IAMTHESWORDtheLAMBHASDIED so weird cz i used to take tramadol and it didn't help so one month i just didn't get it refilled and had not a single problem stopping. So weird!! I thought it was prescription aleve!! 😄 i was shocked when someone told me it was addictive!! Guess i dodged a bullet there.
