  4.  @laxeystu8096  People arriving from France CANNOT be refugees - it is a legal term with a legal definition. Refugees have to claim that status on arriving in the nearest safe country to their own, and it is absurd to imagine the UK fits that description. The Amnesty guy knows this and is being disingenuous.

  5.  @laxeystu8096  The point is that if someone wants to migrate into England all they have to do is get themselves onto English soil any which way they can and claim asylum (which will never be revoked and they will never be repatriated) and the NGOs, the govt authorities, and the courts, will side with them regardless of what the post war conventions were designed for, and that needs to STOP.
