  21.  @k-ozdragon  'Asian has always referred to east Asian', not so - it emerged from the Vietnam era, which introduced the term 'South East Asia' into America living rooms. Because the US doesn't understand that we in GB use 'Asian' to mean those from Imperial India (Pakistanis, Indians, Sri Lankans) doesn't mean we have to change for their sake.

If the Ukrainian people want to resist having their country taken from them by a war criminal despot it doesn't reflect badly on anyone who wants to support them. This isn't a 50-50 scenario, there is clearly bad on the Russian side, and denying that is every bit as dangerous as woke.
