  1. 3:09 Quite slanderous to say Custer was attempting a genocide. His and the other commands under General Sheridan involved in the 1876 campaign were attempting to get Sioux and Northern Cheyenne contingents off the Crow reservation and back onto their own.

  3. @mglenn7092 Good points made. Custer wasn't even the commanding officer of the regiment, had he been in present things may have been different. General Terry's orders are ultimately to blame as they gave Custer leeway to act on his own initiative.
