  1. Just a reminder. Hitler declared war on the United States, not the other way round. Darryl Cooper (whoever he is) needs to imagine that Britain had made 'peace' in 1940. Pearl Harbor may well have happened simultaneously on the East Coast, without the Royal Navy reducing the Kriegsmarine and the French and Italian navies before the Japanese entered the war. The US would have capitulated at once. Removing Britain from the Second World War does not end the war. It's only a happy prodspect to those who want to live under foreign totalitarian masters.

Israel offered a two state solution to Arafat and he rejected it - Sachs needs to understand that the Palestinians don't want peace, they want to remove Israel totally.

The central wrong of WWII that America wanted to stay out of so-called foreign wars. Reminder; Churchill didn't declare war it was Chamberlain.
