The reason there is a poverty of candidates for Tory leader is because decades of the EU has created a politics where decisions are made elsewhere and so UK MPs are now yes men who can barely make a speech let alone lead the country. Mrs May got to be leader because she was left in a top post (Home Sec) by David Cameron way after her time to be 'reshuffled' because he wanted to boast about his cabinet having women in top jobs - that's all. He ought to have been promoting able men. Frankly anyone but who campaigned for Brexit would have been better than May after Cameron stepped down and her 'election' was a farce.

  5. The Tory Party should have moved mountains to keep May out of Number 10 and let the peoples will be done. Instead her opponents just melted away as if by unheard decree. If the Tory hierarchy think we are going to just forget about Brexit and let a remainer cabinet do what it wants they will have a rude awakening. If you have a Conservative MP get onto them.
