  12. When higher pay for workers is the issue, suddenly the law of supply and demand is out the window! Just raise the pay and the workers will come! It's just that simple! About 1980, it was definitely possible to buy a nice decent home for $30,000. At that time, a normal, decent skilled job paid $20,000 a year! The price of the house sky-rocketed to MORE THAN TEN TIMES THE OLD PRICE! Did the job salaries increase by the same multiple amount? NO! Salaries of $200,000 a year and over for the same normal, decent skilled job are nonexistent! The $30 an hour pay they talk about works out to $62,400 a year! Something's defunutely rotten in Denmark!
