  1. AI is cute, but it can only do simple paperwork things and limited simple physical tasks. AI isn't going to do roofing work or replace plumbers, electricians, mechanics, carpenters and other practical skilled real work jobs. Can we get an AI robot to diagnose and repair home heating or air conditioning systems? Even in he management realm, AI is limited in the kinds of decisions it can make successfully without the seasoned, real world experience of a skilled manager.

  2. A lot of the trade work has been flooded with unskilled ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT cheap labor. A job location might have a few ACTUAL skilled trades people supervising a crowd of unskilled ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT warm bodies. With the current OPEN BORDERS policy, even licensed trades have been hit hard!
