  5. Even if at the origin depeche mode wanted to be a rock band, but could only buy cheap synthesizers instead of guitars ( too expansives ), they were a synth pop band. JCE is pure synth pop , not rock. Then no place in this list.

  8. in old egypt you got caucasians in the north and negroid/black in the south, called nubians. people at the north of the sahara were caucasians. Since the muslim empire they are called arab by many people. And most of the histories in egyt are in the "white egypt". But with politic and military evolutions, there was black leaders in north of egypt. It is like saying that south africans people were white because their leaders were white under the apartheid. About color skin, before the 16th century, color got fairer skin while living higher to the north . Only exception : the inuits, because of their food rich in vitamin D . tropical area -> burning sun protected by black skin septentrional areas -> weaker sun, then less natural production of vitamin D, fairer skin favor vitamin D formation. Babies can't growth without vitamin D. This is only a question of natural selection. Modern life bring vitamin D to black people living in europa or in north america, in food.

  12. japanese and chinises can have "white" skin, mostly women where many of them keep their skin fairer than the majority of the europeans (sign of beauty). well women farmers don't have this delicate fair skin. goku lacks the typical asian feature : the eyes. He has rounded eyes more like europeans. He had even blond hair and fair eyes in some seasons. Then speaking of whitewhashing in this case is stupid.

  15. elvis had success because he is elvis : great voice, handsome guy, charismatic, sexy dance moves, etc.... He is one of the guy who made popular rock& roll. He is the icon of the rock & roll explosion in the 50's. Just for that he deserves to be in the list, because this is a turning point in the modern music in the middle of the 20th century.

  22. REM in the 80's? they made 2 top 10 in the end of the 80's and only in the USA. They are not defining artists of the 80's while many Europeans artists are missing on this top 10.
