We learnt it about it in my school. Although my dad taught me most things in far more detail. I’d say it needs to be taught in homes more. Unfortunately most parents are too busy with Facebook and wrestling

@karybakk there are no meaningful efforts to slow the destruction, just as there are no efforts to reduce pollution, and the change has been dramatic but you carry on burying your head in the sand, living standards have been deteriorating for ten years plus and they are getting worse every year

Why would we bother to try? It would be utterly miserable, ludicrously dangerous and horrifically expensive for absolutely no benefit over living on earth that I can think of. However bad conditions get on earth, however much we mess it up, it'll never be anywhere near as bad as Mars.

It baffles me why people think this idea is at all feasible, let alone economically viable or even something anyone would want to do. They clearly have no idea how unbelievably harsh conditions are in space and on foreign planets. We haven’t colonised Antarctica or the bottom of the ocean, and they are infinitely more achievable and economically viable, with far more favourable living conditions. There’s no chance we will be successfully living on Mars or the moon before we achieve that.

@TheAstraeuss there is that 😂 lack of imagination maybe. I feel like they would need the dexterity and ability to manipulate their environment into building tools though, so some kind of hands or possibly tentacles would be required. Maybe octopus like creatures, or elephants with multiple trunks
