Absolutely no mention of the fact that not only did the west cheerfully ignored the annexation of Crimea or the earlier invasion of Georgia, it happily allowed Russia to host the World Cup 4 years later, never mind gleefully accepting Russian oligarch money into London and eagerly purchasing their gas and oil. As long as there were profits to be made from Russia, it was all ok. Saying the west is not to blame for the invasion of Ukraine is at best hopelessly naive, and at worst more propaganda. This was entirely predictable and is a really odd a complete failure of foreign policy. Personally I suspect this was America’s long term plan, to suck Putin into a long drawn out meat grinder of a war that would reduce Ukraine to dust and give them a reason to go to war with Russia and implement a regime change. The war will be very good for the profits of western arms and energy companies

  3. The media is framing the reporting of this war so differently to every other war that has happened in the last 50 years. We’re being conditioned for military action, there is so much information not being communicated in the media
