  1. This is great military analysis, if you’re keen on just parroting the media propaganda line. If you actually look at it from a military perspective, understand Russian military doctrine and logistics, and take their stated objectives into account, an alternative picture emerges. They’re not taking territory because that’s not their objective. They’re there to destroy the Ukrainian military. The Russian military is largely designed to fight a defensive war on home soil, unlike the USA’s, and they rely on rail for much of their logistics. They have rail engineers to build logistics lines in their units. They’re not in a hurry, they know NATO aren’t going to intervene. And the Russians have never been shy about losing casualties in war either, unlike the USA. I wouldn’t take everything you hear in the media as gospel.
