  3. Well Taiwan claims the whole of China plus ex parts of China that are no longer China. It’s a bit like if the confederate government had fled to Cuba and still ruled in Cuba and claimed to be the legitimate us government and claimed the whole USA belonged to them. The US government would be a bit annoyed if Russia and China visited and armed it to the teeth.
