  2.  @michaelmcclure3383  erm no it isn’t. No id is required in Britain or Ireland or most of Western Europe. You get sent a polling card but you don’t even need that to vote, you just turn up and give your name, if you’re on the electoral roll then you can vote. It’s a democratic right that shall not be infringed

  3. So what you’re saying is voters must vote as per what the corporate party predictions tell them they’re going to vote. Predicting how Florida is going to vote isn’t exactly difficult, you could do that without doing all that stuff.

  5.  @michaelmcclure3383  not in the U.K. and Ireland, or most of Europe. If you pay taxes then your identity can be proved. You don’t need photo ID to pay taxes, and you don’t need them to get on the electoral roll in most of Europe. In the U.K. it is a right not to have to own photo ID. The government does not have a right to know who you are and where you are whenever it wants, in the U.K. you have the right to anonymity. This does not infringe on your right to vote, everyone has the right to vote, including those without photo id.

If you don’t have a driving license or a passport, you don’t have photo ID but you most certainly can vote. You have to be on the electoral roll, and your ID is proved by the fact you pay taxes. If you’re an illegal immigrant, you won’t be on the electoral roll and you won’t pay taxes. You do not need photo ID to vote in Britain, Ireland and most of Europe. Here voting and anonymity are democratic rights and freedoms that shall not be infringed. Doesn’t sound like the land is the free is.
