The USA wanted to make sure that any war with Russia happened in Europe, not in America that's great for tbe US but not so good for Europe. In any case tbe us spends way more on medical insurance per capita than any country in Europe, its just when insulin costs 600 bucks instead of 20 most of that money goes to profit some super rich dude.
