@stephanecaussin9829 debt is eroded by high inflation, especially when it is owned by governments big corporations and the wealthy. They are shielded from the negative effects of high inflation and reap the benefits of reduced debts in real terms, unlike the rest of society. It’s all by design. Read crisis capitalism.

@James_36 it went on small businesses? So MacDonald’s, whetherspoons, Virgin, P&O are small businesses? Nice try at a lie. And a lot of the ‘small businesses’ it went to were set up by people like Matt Hancock’s neighbour and his pub landlord in order to land ministerial approved government contracts for PPE and vaccinations. Meanwhile the help out to eat out money didn’t go to any small businesses and family owned restaurants at all. Either you’re a government propaganda account or you’re a useful idiot.
