Are you by any chance in charge of British railways?

The USA doesn’t go in for national holidays, big corporations don’t like them. Germany has 16, all paid for, and the best paid and most productive workforce in the world.

That would save on the funeral

@johnpaulingress6012 I remain unconvinced. I've never seen any evidence of them being used effectively in combat. Theory is all very well but until it's proven in combat that's all it is. There is very little evidence of them being successfully used as an effective weapon, which leads me to suspect they aren't

@counterstrike89 police reports 😂 let me guess, they had to shoot him because they were in fear of their lives due to him wielding nunchucks

@wisemankugelmemicus1701 do you know what a dirty bomb is?
2
Kinder eggs are too dangerous for you. Here, have a gun
2
@johnpaulingress6012 have you ever used them in anger against someone trying to hurt you?
2
just massive free advertising for macdonalds which no doubt was their strategy

@wisemankugelmemicus1701 pretty sure isis had plenty of access to hospitals
1
Just not had the idea. Yet. Or maybe they don't want to get their hands dirty and become radioactive themselves
1
@wisemankugelmemicus1701 Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, they all have hospitals with xray machines. You must be American
1
@wisemankugelmemicus1701 probably just not had the idea of dismantling xray machines for the materials yet. Or don't want to irradiate themselves doing it. You're American so obviously there is a question mark over your intelligence. You seem to think that Syria and Iraq don't have xray machines in their hospitals. You Americans know all about insurgency, you were amongst the first insurgents in the world
1
@revcrussell really? So what are xrays then
1
@revcrussell news to me. I didn't know you could produce radiation at will. Why go to the bother of digging up uranium then? So what were these pellets for then?
1
@revcrussell I had no idea you could produce radiation on tap without radioactive material

Consider buying porridge. Healthier and a lot cheaper

The blocks could well have been there's a French guy who demonstrated it

Has anyone got any experience of using them in an actual fight? Everyone I've ever spoken to who says they're really effective has never actually used them in a real fight. I'd like to hear some evidence of how they can be used effectively in a street fight against someone. Are they any good once the distance has been closed and it's cqc, grappling and inside striking for example. What if your opponent is competent in something like Brazilian jujitsu, are there advantages to having them then as opposed to knowing bjj?

@marekmkm744 watch Capricorn One

@ninjafruitchilled you mean life a morning star? They look the part don't they. But not very popular, probably because swords, pikes, axes and spears were far more effective. Looks good though. And would definitely scare unarmed opponents, you wouldn't fancy one bouncing off your head. Although what happens when they get past your flail and are in close? Also, the verb "flailing" does not generally have successful connotations, as in "flailing around". This is a solid piece of evidence that they weren't very effective on the battlefield
