Also because people have less money and it’s a cheap day out

@EXROBOWIDOW I’d just tell them my child is suffering gender dismorphia and won’t be coming to school for a few weeks until they/them feel up to it. I bet the schools will be totally cool with that 😂

@Steamrick so, only access but the rich huh? Yeah, that sounds like good old American freedom that our founders intended

Definitely

@yert9362 why don’t they place the same restrictions on the millions of car visitors as they do on the thousands of hikers who trek 2000 miles to get there?
5
@bojackkatarn you mean the easiest to access features that you can drive to 😂

@yolandacheng2839 can’t you just say you’re homeschooling for 2 weeks?

@milkflys what doesn’t work?

@MPedich he’s the same kind of American who litters the trails with Starbucks coffee cups and thinks healthcare is a privilege for the rich.

@bojackkatarn I see you’re a very atypical American. Good for you! You’re exactly the American that the government intended on pumping out. I bet you loved your pledge of allegiance every morning, yessir, and if they told you to do anything else you would obey without question 🙋

@bojackkatarn go to east Texas, where I grew up. It’s 97% private land, but as mah daddy told me, they gotta catch ya before it’s illegal, yessir I do believe he was right, god bless his mighty soul
1
@xirfan the problem is that 97% of the land in the USA is privately owned by people like Jeff bezoz and bill gates, and the USA doesn’t have a right to roam act like the U.K. The top 1% of land owners in the United States own approximately 25% of the land, and the top 10% of land owners are estimated to own approximately 70% of the land, none of which is accessible to the public.

@asdabir no, because then they’ll be just as crowded 😂
1
@QemeH don’t tell them, you’ll ruin them too
1
@amunak_ exactly. If I’m ever going to one of those popular locations, I go in thanksgiving or on Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day, when I know for sure no one else will be there

@nahnahson funny how many people are so keen to regulate the constitution away these days.
