  1. It's the difference between military engagement doctrine in theory and in practice. The enemy rarely conforms to expected behaviour, and flexibility of use is probably the single most important thing on the battlefield when it comes to equipment. Unfortunately those that make decisions are often far removed from the battlefield and rarely take into account the views of soldiers in the field. The recent debacle in Afghanistan is an example.

  6.  @curlytheunacceptable.4298  well the pilots wouldn’t have been in the planes 😂 can’t see them being as effective on the ground through. I guess with these planes you always want them enemy to be behind and above you which is counter intuitive
