Except even though they're actually already getting paid more than ed sheeran for what reason nobody knows they still want more money
34
@dimitribarbe6883 they'd get hammered by any top level European club u15s. Why don't dallas u15s get paid the same as the wnst if they're as good or better?
18
@Ares Lictor yes because the men’s game generates a lot more money, is far more competitive and it’s far harder to get in the last 16 of the men’s World Cup than win the women’s World Cup. The women’s team wouldn’t even qualify for the men’s World Cup, yet any men’s team win the women’s World Cup with ease

This is exactly women’s attitude to equality, all the upsides, none of the downsides
8
Women’s football doesn’t make anywhere near as much money because it’s nowhere near as good.
6
@dimitribarbe6883 dallas u15 are nowhere near one of the best youth sides in the world they would get slapped silly all over Europe, if you're not good enough to beat an average school team you really shouldn't be asking for equal pay. How about earning a living instead of stealing one
5
@dimitribarbe6883 the best mls youth team makes them one of the best youth teams in the world? 😂 You're delusional mate. Tell me how many graduates from this top tier world class youth academy have gone on to make it in a top European league? Tell me all the top tier European youth teams they've beaten? The women's game doesn't attract anywhere near the audiences and money that the men's game does because it's nowhere near the same quality, as evidenced by the fact they can't beat an average schoolboy side. Most English championship games get bigger crowds and tv audiences than most international women's games, so why should women get paid more?
3
@dimitribarbe6883 BS. I’ll ask again, who are the graduates of the fc Dallas academy that are playing in the top European leagues? Or even in the minor European leagues? If they’re as good as you say they are, there will be plenty. So name them. And the women’s game doesn’t attract anywhere near as much commercial revenue as the men’s, the reason it gets such a big tv audience is that it’s almost always on free to air tv, as opposed to the men’s game which is almost always a subscription service. Put the women’s game behind a similar subscription and see what the audience is then. There’s a very good reason why they don’t.

@Lazrael32 so why can’t depp say something about her previous relationships and get her to testify
2
@Lazrael32 so why does Amber mentioning Kate moss mean she has to testify but not depp mentioning Amber’s ex?

The only person setting women and victims back here is Amber Hurd
1
Yes, because they’ve won 5 world cups to be men’s 0 😂 I know that’s exactly why she thought that. Should the us woman’s team get paid as much as Wrexham? Because they’ll have to take a big pay cut. The reality is compared to men women are massively overpaid for the equivalent skill level
1
I don't get it, are these woman add good as the men at football? Don't they keep getting beat by kids soccer teams? Do as many people turn up to watch women's international football as men's? Are the ticket prices and sponsorship deals the same?
1
This is a joke. Are they suggesting it's as hard to win the women's world Cup as the men's? Are they suggesting that their world Cup had the same stadium and TV audiences and sponsorship money?
1
If the women’s game doesn’t generate the same money as the men’s game how can they expect to be paid the same? Why can’t I get paid the same as the CEO of my company?

It’s weird how socialist the U.S. is about its sports
1
@crealkillr they don’t equality at all, they want to cherry pick
1
Hell nah, if the women want to earn the same as the men for winning the men’s World Cup, let them win the men’s world
1
@fadenmac8092 that’s a bit socialist isn’t it?

That's not the BBC that's an observer (newspaper) columnist giving her middle class feminist entitled anti male opinion
