  1. Does anyone use bitcoin as a medium of exchange? Seems to me it's merely an investment, and isn't really used by much as a currency at all. In which case, what's the point?

  2. They pay interest in the borrowed stock, it's no different than taking out a loan from the bank. Although I'm not entirely sure why anyone would lend their stock to someone who is just going to trash the price then give it back when it's worthless
